In Winter Park, February is packed full of action!
On February 5, head to Fraser, CO for Fraser Fire and Ice: a fabulous bonfire of old Christmas trees! There will be a lighted walk from Mural Park to Lions Pond, followed by a live DJ, a bonfire, and fireworks.
February 12 and 13, visitors can enjoy Ranch2Ranch XC Ski Trek. This fundraiser features a cross country ski from Snow Mountain Ranch to Granby Ranch. Participants will take "Snow Mountain Ranch Trails" to the "Fraser to Granby Trail" to the "Granby Ranch Trails." It'll be a blast- and proceeds go to a great cause!
February 19, sign up for Moonlit Uphill and experience a whole new side of Winter Park! Intermediate skiers are welcome to join a trained guide for an after-hours exploration of the lifts and a cruise back down to base. It is an unforgettable experience that you don't want to miss!
From February 25 to 27, the 46th annual Wells Fargo Ski Cup will take place. This is the longest running professional ski race in the country, and it always draws incredible talents!
Have the Perfect Valentine's Day
Winter Park is a lovely place to spend Valentine's Day! There are plenty of romantic activities to add to your schedule.
Looking for flowers? Margaret's Garden has gorgeous floral arrangements. Pair your flowers with some chocolates from The Sweet Life Candy Store!
Make reservations for an elegant dinner at one of Winter Park's many romantic restaurants. Volario's offers upscale Italian food at surprisingly affordable prices. They have marvelous mountain views and a patio with a fireplace! At Deno's Mountain Bistro, you'll find a casual but cozy environment with great steaks and creative dishes. Ranch House Restaurant and Saloon in nearby Tabernash, CO is a gorgeous restaurant that serves their own ranch-raised Wagyu steaks.
After dinner, snuggle up and watch a movie at The Foundry or go for a starlit stroll around town!
